The Deepings Caravan Park Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs The Deepings Caravan Park, Towngate East, Market Deeping, Lincolnshire, PE6 8LQ. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law.

Information we collect
We collect personal information when you:
Make a booking enquiry or reservation for touring, camping or glamping, either through our booking widget or by contacting us directly — this includes your name, address, phone number, email address and, where relevant, vehicle registration.
Enquire about or purchase a static caravan or lodge, or list one for sale through us — this includes your name, contact details, and information relevant to the sale or purchase.
Make a payment directly through our website — your card details are processed securely by [payment processor name] and are not stored on our own systems.
Sign up for event alerts or our newsletter — this includes your name and email address, held through Mailchimp.
Contact us through a form, email or phone — this includes whatever details you provide in that message.
Visit the park — CCTV operates in the car park, reception and other communal areas for the safety and security of guests, staff and property.
Visit our website — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Why we use your information
We use your information to process bookings and payments, respond to enquiries, manage caravan and lodge sales, send you information you’ve asked for (such as event alerts, if you’ve signed up), maintain the safety and security of the park, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Where we rely on your consent — for example, marketing emails or non-essential cookies — you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information with GemaPark, our booking system provider, to process reservations; Clover, to process card payments; Mailchimp, to send event alerts and newsletters to those who’ve signed up; and Google and Meta, who process website analytics and advertising data on our behalf. We don’t sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (currently six years). Enquiry and contact information is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, plus a reasonable period after. CCTV footage is normally kept for 30 days unless it’s needed for an ongoing incident or investigation.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it’s wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email in**@*********gs.com. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
The park welcomes families, but we don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Bookings and enquiries are made by a parent or guardian.
