50 weeks of the year, all the facilities
Owners get the run of everything, The Ranch, the Sports Bar, the fishing lake, the same as anyone staying on the park.

Our licensing
Owning a static or lodge at The Deepings
- Holiday licence, but you can live in it. Your static sits on a 50-week unrestricted-use licence — it’s not technically a residential agreement, but we’ve an arrangement with the council: pay council tax and you can live in your static for the full 50 weeks. Choose holiday use instead and you pay the non-domestic rate — that’s the difference you’ll see in the fees above.
- We close for two weeks every January — 18th to 1st February. The only weeks of the year the park isn’t running.
- New statics and lodges come with a 10-year licence, renewed annually after that.
- Age limits: 20 years on a single static, 30 years on twin units and lodges. Reaching that age doesn’t mean you have to leave — it just means the unit can’t be sold on once it’s past the limit.
- Every sale goes through our office — buying or selling, never privately between owners. It protects the buyer, and we charge the standard industry commission on any sale that goes through.
- No subletting. Plenty of people here treat their static as home, and keeping it to owners is part of what keeps that neighbourly feel.
